M3

Apologies for the extreme delay since our last post. We've been busy and lazy.

Yes, we felt the earthquake. I was at my primary care office and everyone was freaking out. It was hilarious.

Also, Hurricane Irene came and knocked out our power and cancelled church. We actually didn't have power for 5 days or so. The worst part was no internet, which was down for more than a week. Buji! Literally, the only picture I have is below. It's a lot easier to go to bed early when it's really dark, and there's no TV or internet or power. I studied by headlamp. It sucked pretty much.

Last week we took the YM bowling. It was fun. Thanks to Groupon for the $23 coupon for 6 people for 2 hours of bowling. Yep. That was a good deal.

Nat is destroying some pins in this picture.

I've also started a new moped project. Pretty excited about this one. It's a Honda Hobbit (aka PA50) and Sydney is pushing for the name "Bilbo" for obvious reasons. I was something a little more masculine. The checker paint job was Sydney's idea. It think it turned out pretty rockin'!

Still need to paint those red shocks.

We went to VA beach last weekend to see Syd's brother Scott who is working out there. Got towed while we were at dinner. I'm totally going to fight the ticket though. Check out the signage! I was parked in the spot in front of this truck.

It has also pretty much been raining for a week straight. I HATE rain. Seriously. This is our pond backyard.

I've been really enjoying my 3rd year of med school so far. I started with my family medicine rotation, which was 1 month, and now I'm on Neurology. It is so nice to get out of the classroom and get to see patients. I still can't believe that I'm paying out the nose to work 40+ hours a week. (I can't wait until surgery). At least during my rotation right now, the residents I work with don't call us in when we're "on call."

That's all for now. I'm hoping to finish my motorcycle this weekend. I need to before riding season ends. Hopefully it will last a little longer here in Richmond.
